Maple Honey Roasted Almonds and Cashews

Honey Roasted Almonds and Cashews

If you’ve ever walked past one of those holiday nut shops that’s making the cinnamon roasted almonds, you know the irresistible smells that it can create.  This recipe for honey roasted almonds and cashews can come pretty close.  Full credit for the original recipe goes to Simply Scratch and the tasty Honey Roasted Cashews.  I’ve simply added in almonds and bumped up the holiday flavors

The great thing is that this recipe is super simple and super quick.  End-to-end, it’s about 30 minutes total.  I used raw, un-roasted and un-salted nuts in this recipe.  My sense is that already roasted nuts won’t be as tasty, but let me know if you find otherwise.
