Fried avocado slices are amazing in tacos, especially when cooked in an Air Fryer.

Servings: 6 Tacos

  • 2 Avocados (about 6-8 slices each)
  • 2 Eggs, Beaten
Fried Avocado Coating
  • 1 Cup Panko
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Chili Powder
Cilantro Crema
  • 1/4 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 Tablespoon Lime Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Chopped Cilantro
  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • Salt & Pepper
  1. Cut each avocado in half, remove the pit and slice 3-4 avocado wedges from each half

  2. Beat two eggs in a shallow bowl

  3. In another bowl, mix the avocado coating ingredients

  4. Place a large plate at the end for the breaded avocado slices

  5. Dip each slice in the egg bath, then roll in the breadcrumbs and place on your plate

  6. Spray the tops lightly with nonstick cooking spray and preheat your air fryer

  7. Place the avocado wedges in the basket, turning as you place them in so the sprayed side is down

  8. Cook for 10 minutes at 380 degrees, turning over half way

  9. Mix the crema ingredients together and stir together
